There are almost as many different kinds of slots online as there are kinds of players who play them. These days, most slots are some kind of multi-line video slot. Online casino download offers the best selection of games, from the classic three-reels slots to the bigger five or even ten reel slots, offering a dizzying number of paylines. Progressive slots are also quite popular with online casinos, since it’s easy for software developers to include jackpots that are shared by all the casinos using their software. So before your casino software download, check to see what the progressive jackpots are there and which casinos feed into them. Obviously, the bigger the software company, the bigger and more frequent the progressive jackpots, of course, this also means you’ll be competing against more people for those jackpots. Bigger companies do not always mean a better selection of games though. It is true that Mircogaming, a leading developer, currently offers the best selection of slots, but smaller companies like Rival Gaming are giving them a serious run for their money, not only in total number of games but also in what innovative features that games come with. Payout percentages are also an important thing to check when choosing a casino. Not all casinos will publish these, but when you can find them, keep in mind that in order to be competitive, a game should have a rate in the upper nineties.
